SBI Unnati vs SBI Advantage
SBI Unnati is positioned as a starter card with zero annual fee for the first four years. SBI Advantage is the higher tier secured card with reward points on every transaction and a slightly higher minimum FD.
Minimum FD and credit limit
Unnati can be opened with an FD as low as 25000 rupees. Advantage usually starts at 50000 rupees. The credit limit on both is around 80 to 85 percent of the FD value.
Eligibility
Anyone with an SBI savings account and a valid PAN can apply. Salary slip, ITR, and CIBIL score are not required.
- Indian resident aged 18 to 70.
- Active SBI savings account.
- FD held with SBI in your own name.
Fees and rewards
Unnati has no joining fee and no annual fee for the first four years. Advantage charges a small annual fee but offers one reward point for every 100 rupees spent, which can be redeemed against the statement.
How to apply
Walk into your nearest SBI branch with your KYC documents and FD receipt, or apply through the SBI YONO app. The card is issued within 10 working days once the FD lien is marked.
